Ever wondered what happened to the STD/EGBDF lead vocalist Romark Mayuga?

Well, wonder no more. Meet the “Blournalist“. Mr Mayuga’s alter-ego in the web. The half blogger half one-man-salvation-team is now out to speak his mind. Actually, he’s been doing for a long time now, save that this is the first blogsite I know of him.

Never been shy of what he do or say, Romark has a knack for hard-hitting political and social issues like corruption in the Philippine Government, the Kankaloo’s sub-urbs, “You are my lobster” valentine’s gifts..etc etc.Just like his recent take on the Dark Knight movie. All these flowing words while trying to get sober.

Hopefully, the Blournalist will come up with more witty blog posts.

Cheers, brah!

Let’s give some love to one of our batchmate who also loves to post emails and updates in our Yahoo!Group. Our very own Joani “Yhun” Suarez.

From time to time, Yhun posts emails whenever he has new stuff in his personal website. So if you haven’t had the chance, just click here or go to yhunski.angelfire.com

Just bear for a while when you go to his website. It’s not that it’s slow to load, but it’s because his web got lotsa cool stuff. You’ll find yourself dancing to the beat of his background music like this…

Yeah bay-bay! Yeah! Ah, the good ol’ days. Back when the B.O.T.E.L.S. were still a dance group who goes to Jaloux every Saturday afternoon. Balita ko nga, sya daw ang idol ni Justin Timberlake at Vhong Navarro.

Anyway, Yhun is a stand-up guy. From the looks of it, he still loves playing the drums, artistic, creative, and a sports enthusiast.

Yeah! Work that thang, bay-bay!

Well, this is just a shout out to Yhun for sending emails to us every now and then. Keep it up, brod! When we do meet, I’ll take you up for a little one-on-one. Pakitaan kita ng mga ganitong retro moves..

YEAH!

Kumustahan – Damers in Singapore

Thank you God for wordpress!

While I’m still setting up this new blogsite for the batch, let me just say hi to everyone and hope you all are doing well… wherever you are. Because where I am, is all good, baby.

I’m in Singapore bilang bagong bayani ng bayan.. aka OFW. YEAH BAY-BAY!

I was told by Milo (Cablao) that he’ll be working here in Singapore soon. And there are a couple of our batchmates residing here as well. Damers like Noel Agustin, Jonel Lim, and Mary May Necesito. I know that Myra Evangelista is here too. So hopefully I could get a hold of them and have a lunch/dinner date sometime.

How are things in Singapore? Hot and wet (hmmm.. that didn’t come out right).

Being near the equator, it’s way hotter here in Singapore than the Philippines. The only reason why it’s more bearable here is that over here in Singapore, the city (island country) is really clean. No smogs, no pile of trash in every corner of the streets, no stray animals, nothing.

Not only that, Singapore is also a safe country. So you can go home late at night without having any worries about your safety.

All these good things comes with a price though. Because the cost of living here is 3x more than back home. There are also taxes and other costs to worry about. Making Singapore also known as a “Fine” city.

Last time I checked, Singapore is the 14th most expensive country to live in. So that also says a lot about this country.

Nonetheless, at least the locals (and foreigners) can see where their taxes are going. If you ask me, the government here really works for the best interest of the locals and the country itself. Eventhough you’ll hear lots of complains from the citizens here about their government.

Will keep you guys posted for more info about what’s Singapore like. Gotta go back to work. So have a great weekend =)
